On April 27, 2026, nine middle school region-winning teams from across North Carolina competed in the annual Battle of the Books competition. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students demonstrated not only their deep knowledge of this year’s books but also remarkable teamwork, focus, and composure. The competition remained close throughout the day, and we are proud to announce the top three teams:
---3rd Place -Marvin Ridge Middle School (Region 6)
---2nd Place - Lewisville Middle School (Region 5)
---1st Place - Orange Middle School (Region 3)
South View’s team of three students was truly on their game, answering with confidence and consistency throughout the day. Competition was fierce, and the girls played excellently. Congratulations to South View Middle School on a job well done.
